Mission Statment

We are a Mission of 21st Century Nuns dedicated to the promulgation of universal joy and the expiation of stigmatic guilt.  Our ministry is one of public manifestation and habitual perpetration.

Our Shared mission is to serve the community of Northern Nevada by spreading joy and goodwill through charitable action, fundraising and community activism that helps those most in need regarless of age, race, religion, sex, national origin, disability or sexual orientation.

We work to raise money for local charities; fight for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Straight and Transgender rights and visibility; and strive to keep our sense of humor, never taking ourselves so seriously that we forget to have fun.

We seek to educate and infrom our community and promote a healthy lifestyle, free of guilt and shame, with the goal of helping everyone live honestly and openly, proud of whom they are meant to be in all their unique beauty.

We vow to support, assist and compliment other local GLBST organizations by championing GLBST right; fostering respect for everyone within and outside the GLBST, working to heal the divisions within our community; and by reminding everyone (including ourselves) to laugh and have fun!

As missionary sisters we are a family united by our belief in the freedom of expression, the value of personal effort and the gift of  diversity.  We strive always to strengthen our community through drag activism and by raising much needed funds for community charities.  As missionary sisters we seek always to promote a better understanding of human spirituality in all its diversity and opportunities for personal and communal spiritual development

As missionary sisters to the community of Northern Nevada we vow to break the chains of guilt and shame so that all may share the gifts of JOY, LOVE, and HAPPINESS.
